Who are we?
Six minds, one goal: building the fastest car
We are Team LUNAR1S from Gymnasium Grootmoor in Hamburg, competing together in STEM Racing. All six members already gained competition experience last season – spread across three different teams. Now we are combining that knowledge in one joint project.

What is STEM Racing?
STEM Racing – formerly “F1 in Schools” – is the world’s largest school-based STEM programme. Teams design, engineer and manufacture a miniature race car using CAD, CAM and CAE software. Judging covers not only times on the track, but also the business plan, marketing and the presentation to the jury.

Aerodynamics at the next level
Our race car is all about maximum performance through uncompromising aerodynamics: an extremely low build, a chassis without unnecessary edges and flowing shapes that guide the air perfectly around the vehicle.

Experience that counts
Two of us won 1st place at the regional championship with Team Allegiance; the others finished 4th with Team Arrow and 6th with Ventum Racing. We are now bringing this experience from three teams to the track together.
